Happy 3rd Birthday first litter

Happy birthday to our first litter of puppies!  It’s lovely to see how they all are and have recent pictures of them.  Barney’s owner commented on how talkative he is and this is a trait he shares with his siblings and mother.  They like to greet you in the mornings and will chat away if there is something worth telling you, or you aren’t doing something they want!   People sometimes mistake the ‘woh woh woh’ noises for growling, but it is definitely just them letting you know who they are. Sunny is very good at singing ‘happy birthday’ so she sang to Luna yesterday, with Luna joining in with a few harmonies.

Tod’s results 2012

Tod’s results 2012:

UKA agility:
Beginners Steeplechase – 1 x clear round, 2 x 2nd place & qualified for the Beginners Steeplechase finals, which we still have to do!

KC agility:
Grade 3 Agility – 1 x 2nd, 1 x 12th
Grade 3 Jumping – 1 x 3rd, 1 x 5th, 2 x 6th, 1 x 12th and a clear round

Obedience:
Class “A” – 4 x wins, 1 x 2nd, 2 x 5th
Class “B” – 1 x win, 2 x 2nd, 1 x 3rd, 4th & 5th

Tod’s having a well deserved holiday now – no obedience training apart from our once a month lesson. It will give me more time to work on Copper as he has loads to learn still!

Well done to Tracy for all her hard work.

“Everybody admires our beautiful girl. Very vocal (she likes to join in our conversations), wonderfully sweet-natured, everything you would possibly want as your pet.”

Top Dog Tod

I am so thrilled to post this latest news of the star of my breeding so far (like it’s down to me 😉 )  Tracy and Tod went to the Witham Obedience Show today and Tracy sent me this message:

Hiya
We have had an amazing day!! I feel totally shattered and I am still in disbelief………

Tod WON “A” AND “B” !!!!!!!

My B stays were first thing so I did them and then worked my B round. He did his send-away!!!! I felt like running up and rewarding him for that but knew I had to work the round. Fast pace was first, that threw Tod a bit and I thought his heelwork was slightly loose but then he made up for it by doing brilliant slow and normal pace. My left turns were a bit naff but that was completely my fault.

I then worked his A round, he worked really well and did super left turns.  Both his scents were very good.

I can’t believe he has already got his first B!!!!
See you tomorrow 😀

So proud of them both xx

Luna Expecting!

Scan has confirmed that Luna is expecting 5 puppies, due 3rd August.  I hope to keep one and have a couple of people already interested, so just have a couple of homes to find.  I expect they will all be sold before birth this time though, as both Luna and Oz are such brilliant temperaments, but also very pretty and dark red/chocolate (meaning all the pups will be too).  Oz lives in a loving family home, is being trained as a bio-detection dog and enjoys agility in his spare time.

I have already had a great deal of interest in this litter and am not taking any more names at the moment.

Tod’s first ‘A’ Win

I am proud to announce that Luna’s brother Dentbros Rubeus (Tod), achieved his first win in an ‘A’ class at the Aylesbury CTS on 25th May 2012.  The judge, Lee Lampert had this to say, “1st MISS TRACY VENUS with DENTBROS RUBEUS B/C Great round from this team only a young dog. A smooth no fuss round just got on with what they had to do. Very smart heel work with Tod holding a good position. Well done on your first A win.” (source www.obedienceuk.com)  Tod is pictured here with his baby brother Dentbros Jack of Diamonds (Copper) also owned by Tracy.

Congratulations Tracy and Tod!

Luna Triumphs

Just had to share this with you: We went to our club’s members-only agility show www.stonebridgedogagility.org.uk/ yesterday for Luna to compete in agility for the very first time. She won everything! She came first in jumping, agility and steeplechase classes, beating 20 or more other dogs. Of course Sunny was eliminated from all three of her classes ;-), but she was in the much harder classes, having won a clear round 3 years ago. Go Dentbros dogs!
